With that being said on to the questions:
How far along: I am 28 weeks today. Only 84 more days to go!
How big is baby: baby boy weighs two and a quarter pounds (like a Chinese cabbage) and measures 14.8 inches from the top of his head to his heels.
Maternity clothes: Oh man do I ever rock the maternity pants. I only own like one or two maternity shirts so I have been wearing a lot of my stretchy tank tops and last night I found an old St. Patty’s shirt that still fits!
Stretch marks: I am earning my tiger stripes! Although since starting my caladryl lotion and the tincture my midwife gave me for my PUPPPs they are starting to silver out.
Sleep: I have not been sleeping well at all. My sleep schedule is all over the place. 4 hours here and there is all I can sleep before I am wide awake again. I am thinking baby boy is getting me ready for his big arrival?
Best moment this week: We kept it simple this week. Baby boy is moving a lot more and Matt is finally starting to see and feel him move around. Especially at night or rather early in the morning. It’s awesome, I was looking forward to this moment almost the entire time I have been pregnant.
Belly button in or out: Still in, for now. I am one of those people who have a really deep belly button, but here lately it is getting very shallow. So we will see what happens in the next 84 days or so.
Cravings: MyFroYo, ice cream, hash browns and eggs smothered in tabasco sauce, chocolate milk, water
What I miss: Being able to sleep on my tummy and a nice glass of red wine before bed. I can’t wait to be able to sleep on my tummy again, but wine will have to wait a while.
What am I looking forward to: In 84 days give or take I will be meeting my little man. I am so excited. Next week my midwife starts her home visits to talk to Matt and I about the birthing process. Oh and I start my two week visits now too!
Milestones: He can blink his eyes, which now sport lashes. With his eyesight developing, he may be able to see the light that filters in through my womb. He's also developing billions of neurons in his brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world.
